Things to do in Plettenberg Bay
Wide beaches, the Robberg peninsula and the Keurbooms River, at the eastern end of the Garden Route.
About an hour and a quarter east of George
Plettenberg Bay, or Plett, is a holiday town on a wide, sheltered bay. The Robberg peninsula closes it off to the west and the Keurbooms River meets the sea to the east.
The bay is good for whale and dolphin watching in season, and the countryside behind the town has some of the region's best-known animal sanctuaries.
